The Adventures of DDR

TRACKLIST SHOWDOWN #Round1 - 17/05/2013

Romanticists, philanthropists, proclaimed musical wizards, and all round classy characters Alaine Isaacs and Christopher Pitman reckon they have what it takes to produce some of the most whimsical and quintessential music tracklists ever.

They are both disturbed mentally and are terribly stubborn and arrogant at heart. Yet, they do know one or two things about good music, and I emphasize "one or two". They have extremely similar musical tastes and generally accept and welcome each others song choice.

That being said, DDR reckons it's about time they came face to face to determine who knows their shit best. And we need your help. They have each thrown together a 10 song tracklist and will be attempting to win over yours and the DDR judge panels' hearts. Their will be arguments. There will be verbal jousts. There will be punches thrown. But at the end of the day, it's all fun and games...or is it?

Tune into this weeks 7 o'clock Show, Sunday at 7pm to catch these two disc jockeys in the mix.

Let us know who you think is the ultimate musical wizard:

BATTLE OF THE BANDS - REDEFINED - 17/05/2013

Surely you've heard of a 'Battle of the Bands'? Bands going head to head on a stage in a musical war to see who is the best band and will ultimately be crowned victor. Sounds and is rather cool. However, our warped minds have redefined the term. An alternative and outrageously chaotic take on the term. A literal battle of the bands is what I'm talking about.

Imagine your favorite bands going head to head in the ultimate showdown: A fight to the death. Who would come out victorious and who would be 6 feet under? And the real question: Whose fighting who? Well we have come up with a couple of battle royals we think would be entertaining to witness, if we ever did get the pleasure of witnessing.

We will be discussing our epic 'Battles of the Bands' on our 7 o'clock Show; so tune in and find out our take on some of the most ridiculous and ludicrous fights we think would go down in history.

Feel free to drop us some of your outrageously epic suggestions at:
